About Us
Established in 1956, the Federation of Small Scale Industries (FSSI) has come a long way in providing a platform to the MSME units in the State. Not only has it provided critical and necessary inputs to the units for countering their short and long term problems, it has also endeavoured to act as a bridge between in industry and the authorities. Almost 65 years down the line, the Federation has tried every bit to come to the rescue of the MSME units despite a general indifference from the authorities. Unfortunately, despite repeated representations, the years of mindset, rooted deeply in the establishment remains firmly entrenched in saddle. We at the Federation believe that it’s time to change and accept the new realities of business, so that the MSME sectors revived and flourishes.
FSSI is a Unique Organization that draws on the synergistic efforts of its stakeholders that has helped it grow from a Small Federation of limited industries in 1956-1960, to a much bigger Federation with a member base of more than 750 MSME units situated at Halol, Waghodia, Por, Nandesari, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Padra and Industrial Estates of Vadodara.
