Activities of Federation of Small Scale Industries
The Federation has been actively involved in several programs for the MSMEs and the activities range from organizing Training Programs to Consultations. A brief summary of the activities include :-
- No. of Industrial Exhibitions to help MSME sectors to showcase their products and services to a wide customer base.
- “Udyog Mitra” – Magazine to disseminate knowledge.
- Vendor Development Programs to enhance business for MSMEs.
- Various Seminars, Workshops and Training Programs on latest Technology and Govt. Policies, Laws and Rules.
- Liaison with National and State Govt. / Private Agencies.
- Technical Workshops for workers of MSME sectors.
- SME Study Mission (Industrial Visit) – to enhance knowledge and facilitate benchmark with companies who have done excellent work in developing and practicing techniques through TQM, TPM and Lean Methodologies to evolve world class Mfg. facilities and capabilities thereby enhancing their competitive position in the global market.
